1. How do I contact the other members?
 

It's very simple and it's FREE. Please follow the steps below to contact the other members...

 
  • Login with your User ID & Password.
  • In the next screen, click on 'Interested' button.
      An email will be sent to that member telling them of your interest.

    2. I didn't receive any response for my profile?
     

    On the average, around 1% of the profiles were entered with misspelled E-mail address or wrong E-mail address. If you have not received any E-mail from our system, please login using your "Matrimony / E-mail ID" and "Password" on the home page and click on the Modify Profile option to correct the E-mail address.

    3. How can I Accept/ Decline a member?
     
  • Login with your User ID & Password.
  • Under "Your Profile Statistics", click Members Who have Contacted me.
  • You will see a list of matrimonial profiles of members who contacted you.
  • Click on a User ID. You will see the profile of that member.
  • Click 'Also Interested' button or 'Not Interested' button to accept/decline the member.

    4. Can I decline a member after having accepted him/ her?
      Yes, you can decline a member accepted by you.

    6. What is "Personalized Messaging"?
     

    The Personalized Messaging System helps registered members to communicate with one another using written messages. The System helps members to send written messages, receive messages and save the messages to their private e-mail accounts.

    7. Can I send personalized messages to other members directly?
     

    No. Before being able to exchange customized written messages with another member you must 'Accept' each other first. When both of you accept each other then you can start exchanging messages.

    8. How can I send messages to other members?
      Please follow the steps below to send a message...
     
  • Login with your User ID & Password.
  • Click on the Send a Message option under "My Mailbox" to the left of your screen
  • In the next page, type the User ID of the recipient.
  • Type your message in the message area provided. Then Click the 'Send Now' button

    9. How will I know when I receive a message in my account?
     

    When you receive a message, you are alerted by an e-mail sent to your e-mail address registered with Walsha Matrimonials.

    10. How will I know whether the message sent by me has been read or not?
     

    All messages sent by you are automatically stored in the 'Sent' folder. To the left of your screen, click on the Folders option to see a list of the messages sent by you. Those messages, which have not been read by others are marked by icon.

    11. For how long will my messages be stored in my account?
     

    All messages are stored for a period of 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted.

    12. How can I keep my messages after the time period provided by Walsha Matrimonials?
     

    To save your messages, select the required messages in the Inbox/Sent folder, Click the 'Forward to your email' option. The message will be automatically forwarded to your e-mail address registered with Walsha Matrimonials.

    13. Can I have the contact details of other members, when I become a paid member?
     

    As a Paid Member you can use premium services and features that are not available to free members. However, you will not be given the contact details of other members. The contact details of members are withheld to ensure member privacy and safety. You may get contact details from members themselves by contacting them using our Personalized Messaging Service.

    14. How can I view the protected photo/ horoscope?
     

    To view a protected photo / horoscope, you need to have the password of that particular photo or horoscope. To get the password you can communicate with the person holding the profile. State your reasons and request for the photo / horoscope password.
